How to Use Uticopa?
|
Searching For A Therapist You can search by any of the following criteria: § Problem – all therapists state their speciality and areas of expertise when they register with us. If the problem you are searching for is not listed on the site, it does not mean that there are no specialists that are able to help, please select ‘Other’ from the problem list and you will be able to see a shortlist of Therapists, where you could check their Special Interests for additional information. § Session Type - Usually it will be helpful to decide if you are looking to work with a therapist online (via email, chat or phone, or rather in a face to face session). By indicating your preference, you shortlist therapists that offer those sessions. § Location – if you chose to have a Face to Face therapy session, please state the Town / City where you would like to see a therapist. If search does not return any results for the area you specified, try a neighbouring town. § Gender – you can specify your preference of Male or Female therapists. You can leave selection as Either if it does not matter to you. § Language – some therapists are offering their service in more than one language. You can look for a specialist who speaks your language through our Advanced Find facility. Tip: If you find that your search criteria is not bringing up the required result, amend it by removing some of the criteria and widening your search. Using Discussion Forums All you need to do is to register and to login to the Uticopa site and you will be able to use our Forum. Please refer to the Rules and Help tabs inside the Forum for simple instructions on how to create new posts, post comments for existing posts and to familiarise yourself with the our Code of Conduct for the Forum users. Therapist names will appear here only if you have used the Save option when viewing their listing or if you have contacted them directly. Whenever you come across a therapist who you might want to consider contacting in the future, save them to your list and this way you can contact them directly from your member’s area without having to search for them again. § My Newsletters – here you can choose the subjects that might be of interested to you. When our newsletters are featuring the subjects you have selected, we will make sure you receive a copy of that newsletter. § My Messages – this is your secure messaging system. Through the My Messages Tab you can access your Inbox and Sent Items box and you can filter all your messages by their senders. This is a thread-based messaging system so you will always see the message history below the most current reply.
